We offer a range of provision to support adults, who are currently disadvantaged in the labour market, to move back into work.
The programmes on offer vary but we do have key themes that run through our pre employment provision. These include: embedded Skills for Life and employability support, IT learning, IAG and differentiated individual support.
We work within a diverse community, supporting over 5000 learners this year to improve their language and employability skills. Ultimately our aim is to support learners into sustained employment which also offers opportunities for progression. Last year nearly 35% of our learners moved into employment through the help we gave them.
In addition, we are able to offer a range of qualifications for all our learners, even those at the lowest language skills levels. Last year Metropole learners achieved on average 2.4 qualifications each.
